**The I Learned picture share is still open as usual. Don’t forget to submit your photo and leave comments for others**

I was honored when Amber of Amber’s Articles asked me to join some other amazing blogging mama’s in posting our favorite 10 photos of our kids from the year. Another bonus of doing a Project 365 made finding my 10 favorite photos a lot easier. The hardest part was narrowing them down. I love some of them because they are a good photo and I love some of them because of the moment or memory they captured. Be sure to check out the other ladies invovled as well as those who link up. So get busy finding your favorite 10 photos! I can’t wait to see them!!

Top 10 for 2010
I took this photo for my final submission for my first workshop through Clickinmoms. I had high hopes for some amazing photo of the two girls. What was I thinking? ha ha This picture makes me smile each time I look at it. These girls love each other and it shows their personalities so well. Kate – taking charge and loving her sister and Emma – going with the flow and getting sand all over her face.

Emma’s first birthday! I’m sure the Japanese thought I was a crazy woman taking a chair, all these balloons and two kids to the beach on such a super windy day. Emma fell out of this chair so many times from the wind pulling on those balloons.

Kate loves her accessories! I got her all dolled up for a mini photo shoot. I gave her these necklaces to keep her happy, instead they were all she could focus on. Oops :O) I just love it!

On this particular day, my parents are singing “The Wheels on the Bus” and they are at the “Shh, shh, shh” part. I love that even though the girls are literally worlds away from their family they are still able to connect and have a relationship with them.

I took Emma out to practice backlighting. We found this crazy field full of weeds. Emma had already taken pictures with me for over 30 minutes but was still a super star. She stood completely fascinated with these weeds while I was in backlight heaven!!

Have I ever told y’all the reason this photo is my logo?? I was in another workshop (I’m obsessed) and needed to take a silhouette shot. This was probably the worst night of my photography life. By the end of the evening Kate and I were both crying and I was sure I had not gotten a good photo. This is the only one I got. I learned so much about myself and photography that night. I should probably write a post with all the good juicy details for you guys soon :O)

This was taken on the night I took our family Christmas photo this year. I love how the girls are running to each other with open arms. They really do love each other! Please God let them always love each other like this!!!

Emma loves balls! I can’t stress this enough. I think if she could only play with one toy for the rest of her life it would be a ball. I love her little sweet expression as she is about to throw this sucker!

I wish this puddle was bigger and I had captured her actually landing in it. All that aside, I love this photo! We try to allow our girls to be kids and enjoy the simple things, like jumping in puddles.

Another workshop assignment (I told you I was obsessed). I need a reflection shot, so after we dropped Kate at school, Emma and I went exploring for rain puddles. I can’t get over how good of a little model she is. I really enjoyed our morning walking around trying to find puddles to play in and photograph. I love her little expression as she looks at her reflection :O)

I took this one by accident. I was about to do a mini photo shoot for my newborn nephew and needed someone to sit, so I could meter off of them. Kate sat for me and I captured this shot. I love it! She looks adorable and I love the wind blowing in her hair!

Okay, so I cheated and have 11. But I needed to have the same number of each girl (I’m the middle child and have a ridiculous need to make sure things are equal)

I hope you will join in and post your Top 10 of 2010. Can’t wait to see your kiddos and pets!! The link will be open until Sunday (States time)

The only rules:
1) The photos need to be of your children and/or animals
2) The photos were taken by you
3) The photos were taken in 2010
