Yay! Time for our monthly photography contest! I can’t wait to see what you have been up to and how you have “clicked it up a notch” this month!! I just want to remind you to have only ONE photo in your submission. Over the past couple of months I have wanted to chose a photo for the Top 10 but there was more than one photo in the post. I have to be a stickler about this rule. If there is more than one photo in the post you will not be eligible for the Top 10.
I have to say this was very hard for me this month. As you know I’m taking the Shooting 301: Creativity and Composition workshop through Clickin’ Moms right now. I have so many new favorites!! It was a tie between this one and another one but I’m going to save the other one for my 4th of July post. Which reminds me! If you have a patriotic picture please email it to me because I would LOVE to feature it on my 4th of July post!!
In order to be eligible to win, please read the list below.
- Only one photo in the entry post.
- Our button (not just a link) must be in the post.
- The photo needs to have been taken this month.
- Summit your permalink, not your main blog address.
That’s it! It’s that simple! So go through all your photos you have taken in June and submit your favorite/best one. Don’t forget to leave comments on the other entries because that is half the fun!! Also, submit your photo early since those seem to be the ones who receive the most comments! Unfortunately, I won’t be able to comment on everyone’s photo who submits! I will do my best but I can’t make any promises :O)
I will pick my top 10 favorite and post them on Sunday morning (Japan Time/Saturday evening EST) for you to vote for the winner. The voting will be open until (Wednesday night Japan Time/Wednesday morning EST) and the winner will be announced Thursday (July 7th) in the “I Learned” post.
June 30th (tomorrow) is the last day to enter to win the lifetime membership for Clickin’ Moms.
My son loves to read too, such a wonderful passion for them to develop early. Love the lightness of this shot and the leading lines.
that is a beautiful beautiful shot!! Love it in BW too. perfect!
Love love love the light in this shot! It looks fantastic in B&W. My daughter loves books too, we might as well move in at the library, lol
What a sweet photo. Love it in B&W
You always make these houses look so beautiful! This is a wonderful one. It helps to have such a pretty subject.
Thanks Martha!! It is hard work to make these houses look nice :O) Had to clone out a few unsightly ceiling vents and lights :O)
love it. man I wish I had a wide angle to get some cool shots indoors. great lighting.
Wow! Courtney, I can really see a big change in your photos. The last few classes you have taken and your hard work have really taken you to a new level.
Thanks so much Amber! That means a TON!! I have been working my tail off :O)
That is a beautiful photo. The lighting and black and white processing is beautiful, and I think children reading is always great.
Beautiful shot…love the bright, happy, feel!

I’m looking on my June folder and already found a couple contenders but there is still today and tomorrow left in June :) I actually have a picture that I would like to e-mail you for the patriotic post. Do you want it with or without a watermark?
You can definitely watermark it! Be sure to send your blog address too so I can link back to you!! Yay! Can’t wait to see it!
Okay I will email it to you…..also I’m trying to get my post up but having technical issues with blogger hopefully soon I will get it up.
Wonderful! Oh brother…good luck with blogger!! Technical issues are the WORST!
And I’m up!!! I got soooo frustrated last night but this morning first try and it went up. There is so much I don’t understand about technology :/ It’s a love-hate kind of relationship. I love it beacuse……well look at us we are exchanging conversation and you are so far away. But when it doesn’t work like it’s supposed to is upsetting but sometimes I think it’s is because somehow we need time away from the screen. Now off to pick my favorite photos of this quarter :)
WOW- that is a gorgeous shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love that photo! And I linked up!=D
