Your Baby In Pictures-Giveaway
Lifestyle

I hit 300 fans on Facebook!! Whoo hoo! Thank you guys! I thought as a thank you I would have a giveaway!!!

I was so excited when I found out about Me Ra Koh’s new book – Your Baby in Pictures: The New Parents’ Guide to Photographing Your Baby’s First Year. I actually pre-ordered it and checked the mail daily for it to arrive.

When it did I was super giddy! I realize I don’t have a baby and you may wonder why I wanted this book so bad. I’ll tell you :O) I have been searching and searching for a fabulous baby gift to give my friends. My dream gift would be to photograph their little one for them but since we live in Japan that isn’t likely to happen for my friends in the States. I wanted to share my love of photography with my friends so they are able to capture their baby.

This book is great for the parents with a point and shoot or who shoot in manual mode with a DSLR. She has over 40 “recipes” to help you capture the pictures like the ones in the book. One of my favorite parts is it breaks up your child’s growth with these photo ops…0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months, and 9-12 months. You wouldn’t take the same photos of a 6 week old as you would of an 11 month old. She has thought of everything! Seriously!

Luckily for me I have found my new baby gift. So watch out if you are a pregnant friend of mine :O) Also, I realize the title says “new parents”. This is a wonderful book for parents even if this isn’t your first baby. I know I didn’t know anything about photography when my first two were born but would have LOVED a book like this!

Since I love you guys so much I bought an extra one for you!!
