I heard about this new blog collage program on Clickin’ Moms and had to get one for myself. Wow! This saves me SO much time! I have always wondered how the “pros” would make those long collages. I could never figure it out in my editing programs. This program took me no time at all to figure out after watching the video on the Focht Creative BlogMe site.

BlogMe

Why I love it:
– Extremely User Friendly
– Flexible layouts depending on what I need
– Only one image to upload to my blog
– Large spots to really show off my images
– Takes no time at all to make a collage
– Professional way to display your images
– Allows you to round the corners of your images
– Saves me time!

I created a little video of how I use the program as well as a few other reasons why I love it. (Ignore my dog who was whining in her sleep in the background. Ha!)

Here is the collage we made in the video. Super easy!! I made this in less than 5 minutes!

Be sure to check out the video Kevin made for BlogMe on Focht Creative. He touches on a few other things that I didn’t mention.

Let me know if you have any questions about the program and I’m sure Kevin (the creator) or I can answer them for you.

I totally understand your reasons for using and loving this, but I have to say, those long photo collages make it really difficult to Pin images. Sometimes I like one image in a collage and want to Pin it for inspiration. I click my Pin It button and all I get is one long collage. Then I don’t pin it, because a) I won’t remember which image I liked and b) aesthetically, I don’t like long pins on my boards. I’m sure it’s not enough to sway you, but I thought you’d want to know that side of it. :)

Thanks for your thoughts! I see what you are saying about wanting to pin just one image. It’s funny that you say you like your pins to be small b/c I’m actually drawn to the longer collages in Pinterest. :O) I tend to stop and look at those more often then the single ones :O)

    hi Courtney.
This does look super easy… Thx for the tutorial to show HOW.
I use Picnik for my collages, they are free and easy to use.. I’m not sure they have the sizing right for blogging pages tho, will double check.
It’s my birthday soon… So who knows if a few *hints* for this program will work. :-)

Certainly makes putting pictures on a post a lot easier. I’m going to give it a try :)

I love this program but I’m wondering if you had any of the same issues I did, or maybe I’m not doing something right. When I make a canvas with a lot of rows.. it gets really long, but then it also gets really small and skinny when I try to post it on my blog. If I try to blow it up, it gets really pixelated. Any ideas?? :)

    Thanks!

Mmm…that is strange. What size are you making the collage when you first start? I make mine to be 650 pixels wide since that is the size I need them for my blog. My program won’t let me add certain rows after a point. Maybe that has something to do with it. Have you tried making a collage with less rows?? Does it do the same thing?
