This is cute, I love pictures where its real and not posed or too cheesy. The only thing I would do differently on this image is the edit. Its to warm and brown, it makes her cheeks look pastey white. cute picture!

What an expression!! Cute little girl! I would try to warm this picture up a little and lessen the brightness on her face some. I would also sharpen around her eyes a little bit and lighten up the area underneath her eyes just a touch. But really all of that is just being nit-picky. Great shot!

The expression on the girls face is great!!! I personally like the edit you have going on, but I’d like to see it in a black and white. I think it might make the image moodier. Great eyes on the little girl!

Love her natural, inquistive expression. I would try to lesson the brightness on her face and clean up under her eyes. I would also play a bit with the white balance. I too think her expression lends itself to a moody B&W image. Would love to see it B&W.

I just love this picture, I would pay a million for eyes like this girl. At first glance I thought the picture was just perfect, until I read the comments, then I went back for another look. I see what is meant now by the ‘white’ cheeks. I don’t know how to look at a photo with a different eye, but I’m trying to learn!!

Great comp. and shot! Love the catch lights in the eyes. The only thing I can readily see is the brightness around the cheeks and nose needs to be brought down some. Other than that I love the shot. :)

Love the expression on her face, what a cute little girl!! I especially love the angle and the way the photo is cropped so as to fill the frame. What I might have done differently….there’s a little too much light on her face washing out her skin tone a little bit, I’d like to see that recovered. I also would have taken a tiny bit of the shadow out of her eyes. Overall a beautiful photo though, nicely done.

This is a beautiful picture with nice composition. I personally would frame it a bit tighter, with her eyes higher in the picture. The washed out area around her nose and under eyes does not bother me as that’s the part of the face that naturally gets more light. If anything, I would try to pull her chin up a notch to have her entire face exposed to the light. That way the chin would not look dirty. What I would change is that white area to the right. It’ too bright and draws away from the face. I’d burn it or add texture to it to darken it a bit. The edit is perfect, I don’t think “cooler” edit would work better, it would probably make her look sick. You’ve captured her eyes and expression beautifully and that’s what counts! Great job.

What a beautiful picture! I like her facial expression, and I like the back light on the hair–it helps separate her from the background. I also like the shallow depth of field. It looks like you might have used a very subtle texture to give that interesting texture in the background. I like brightness of her cheeks–it gives her face a little bit of a glow. I would probably lighten the area under her chin a little bit so that there’s not so much contrast between the shadow under her chin and her cheeks. I agree that this picture would make a nice black and white one too. Good job and thanks for sharing!

Love the gentle expression in the eyes -totally natural.
I would try to get rid of some of the whiteness to the right of the child. Would Photoshop help?
the photographer really captured the essence of this quiet child.
    Great job~

I love this photo so much. So much that this is the first time, in months of following the blog, that I’ve actually left a comment! I love the focus on her eyes. The only thing I might change is the white area beside he face; it’s a little bit distracting. I love the tone, and I agree with one of the above posters – it might be a nice shot to see in B&W.

I love this picture! The little girl just looks innocent and naturally beautiful. I like the framing of the shot because I like portraits to fill the frame, but still show the blurred background some. I do agree that the cheeks look a little too white or washed out. Great picture!

What a great expression! I love the way you’ve framed this. I agree with whats being said above, the white space beside her head is a little distracting. I might also try pulling a bit more texture back into her skin, to my eyes it seems a little too smooth and washed out, especially the cheeks and around the eyes/eyebrows. Great capture – she does not seem impressed and her eyes are just piercing!

What a beautiful girl! I love your composition. I think to achieve the darkening of the spot to the right and on her cheeks, and brighten up her chin, the free action, Touch of Light and Touch of Dark from MCP Actions will work best for you. It’s one of their best and so nice that it’s free! http://www.mcpactions.com/actions/try-me.html You could also try to open a copy of this image, and reduce the exposure in bridge until these spots are not so bright and then paste this one over it. The just erase the areas that are too light with a soft edged eraser. Good Luck – I really like your texture in the back :)

Cute little girl! Almost looks like the daughter of one of my friends. I think the coloring is a little off for me. I tend to like warmer pictures. She is lacking a little color on her face. But CUTE , priceless shot.

Fantastic focus and beautiful subject. Her eyes are captivating. I would lighten her up a bit, pull back browns and maybe put back a little pink in her cheeks. The style you used is neat, and could work with a little more color in her skin. Overall, incredible expression and photo!
