Groovebook: Free Photobook App

Do you use your phone to take pictures? Do you have at least 100 photos on your phone? Do you want to print the images from your phone? Then I have just what you need!!

Groovebook free photobook app

Groovebook is a FREE app you can download for your iPhone (don’t worry Android users, they are working on finalizing the app for y’all too). You can upload your photos from your phone directly to the company. No more trying to remember to upload your images to the computer and then to your lab. After you have picked your 100 photos and you click “upload”, Groovebook prints and mails you your book. You get a book each month of up to 100 images. It is that easy!

As a busy mama, I don’t forget to upload my images to my computer. This is not a great practice. In fact, just a few weeks ago, my mom’s phone went crazy and she lost all her videos and images. Now, if she had Groovebook she would have had at least a hard copy of all the images.

The book itself is completely free! After you download the free app you only need to pay $2.99 a month for shipping. Groovebook will send you a monthly reminder to upload your images for your free monthly book. That is just what I need! Now you have a fast and easy (seriously, easy) way to get your photos printed at a cost you can afford.

No more excuses to not print your iPhone images anymore!!

Why I love Groovebook

* Glossy images delivered to your door in a bound book.
* Pages are perforated so you can easily remove them to display in a frame, on the fridge, in your child’s room and send to family.
* Easy to order an extra book for family and friends which will be delivered to their door.
* HUGE time saver by being able to upload directly from your phone.

Types of books you can make:

Besides being a fantastic way to print your phone images, what a fun idea it would be to let your kids be mini photographers and get their images printed one month by Groovebook. You could pick a theme like the alphabet and numbers. Have your child photograph an item that starts with each letter in alphabetical order. Then photograph groups of items by numbers. Upload those photos and what a treat, for only $2.99 your child will have an educational book that they not only can learn from but they helped create.

How it works:

1. Download the free app from www.groovebook.com
2. Pick 100 of your photos to be printed.
3. Click “upload”.
4. Check your mail in a few days to receive you book!

It’s that easy!

Since the folks at Groovebook love you guys, you not only get a free book each month, you will get the first month completely free! That is how much they believe in their product!

Use the code “GROOVEITUPANOTCH” to get your first book free and with no shipping fee!

After you download the app they will ask for your credit information even though you have a coupon code. This is just so after that you decide you love it you can keep getting it! You may cancel your subscription at any time.

No more excuses for not printing your photos from your phone.

Did you download the free app and upload your first book??

*By using this code Click it Up a Notch receives a small fee from Groovebooks at no cost to you. Thank you in advance if you decide to support Click it Up a Notch.

  1. Great idea!

To solve the other “problem” you mention in you video, I back up all my iPhone photos to Lightroom, just like I do with my camera. I’ve set it up to put them in folders based on the date they were taken, and Lightroom takes care of not importing any duplicates. Once stored in Lightroom, I am also free to delete photos from my phone to save space.

  2. What a great idea!! Thanks for sharing! Can’t wait until they finalize the android app. Until then I will share with my friends!

    • Michelle, they said the Android app is actually in the store but has a few bugs. You can download it and if you have any problems you can contact them they said. Don’t forget to use the code – GROOVEITUPANOTCH when you upload your images for free shipping!

  3. Going to give this a try! This could be a Big Time Saver for me!
    Thanks for Sharing! :0)

  4. This rocks! I’m so going to do this- just like I do everything else you tell me to do! I loved watching the video too. I miss you!

  6. This is fantastic! I’m going to share this post with a friend of mine who takes tons of photos on her phone. I may try it as well although I’m not quite as prolific with my phone camera.

    Thank you so much!!!

  10. Such a cool service! I can’t wait to upload my photos and have the book arrive in the mail! Thanks for sharing :)

  11. I’ve already uploaded my pics from the phone to the computer. Can I load the files from the computer and get a Groovebook from there? It will take me a while to get another 100 and I’d love to use my free book in December!! Thanks in advance for the info!!

    • That is a great question!! Are the photos still on your phone?? I’ll ask for you :)

    • Vicky, I asked Groovebook about pulling images from your computer and here is what they said, ” Unfortunately at the moment GrooveBook is only able to pull from the phone’s camera roll. We hope to expand capabilities to pull from multiple sources in the future.” So get to snapping with your phone :)

  12. This looks fantastic! Another tip- I use the PhotoSync app (iPhone) to transfer photos. Install it on your phone and your computer, and as long as the app is running, you can connect over WiFi and it will transfer your photos from your phone to your computer. I use it all the time now and it’s much easier to get my pictures off the phone!

Thanks for this Groovebook code, can’t wait to try it out!

  13. I ordered my first groovebook last night and used your coupon code. Reading comments just now and seems it expired but wasn’t told this when I placed my order. Is coupon code still good?
