Such an adorable picture! I love the colour and textures you’ve captured in the yellow fabrics and headband. If I had the opportunity to shoot this again I might try changing my perspective just slightly so the baby’s face and toes are on the same plane and both completely in focus so you get the same focus on the wrinkles on her feet as you do the wrinkles on her tiny thumb. This is a really pretty picture – I love how soft her skin looks and the details you’ve captured around her face.

What a beautiful baby! The head band, wrap, and backdrop are wonderful! I would pull out some of the red/magenta on the baby. She looks too pink to me. Play with the green and maybe blue curve a bit to help her skin tones. Other than that, great shot!

I love this picture! It is such a beautiful picture of a newborn with simple props (blanket, headband). With a beautiful baby, there is no need to accessorize too much, so I think this is perfect. I would have liked the crop to show a little bit more of the blanket in the bottom corner by the toes. The toes are almost cut off, but not quite, but when it is framed, the cute toes may not show well. The picture is so sweet though and I’d be thrilled as a mother to hang this picture!

I think this is a really cute, sweet picture and would be a proud mama to hang this on the wall! I agree with the last comment where I would have tried to either change my angle when I took the picture or cropped it a little differently in editing to get a little more space around the toes! With the way they are so close to the edge, they kind of fade away and could easily be lost in a frame and baby feet are so cute! I do love how you have captured her sweet face with such clarity!

I do love this photo; it is of such a sweet baby! It is quite easy to get a great picture when you’ve got a great subject. I’ve got just a couple of tips. I think that the yellow on yellow is a little much; changing either the blanket color or the color of the pillow/blanket she is laying on would improve this photo! Great photo; I’d love to see it in black and white too!

Great photo! The styling is perfect, nice pose, and sweet baby. The natural light is lovely in this photo and you did a very good job on positioning and posing with baby. There is a tiny shadow from the blanket near her chin. I would suggest using a reflector in the future to help with shadows. You can lighten the shadow with the dodge feature in photoshop. Just do it slightly so it is less noticeable and not overly edited. The coloring is a little cool, but it could be my monitor. I’ve grown to love setting my white balance in camera with the custom wb setting. Again, lovely photo and subject!

I LOVE the baby’s hand position around her sweet little head !! Golly I wish her feet behaved better, but at least you captured those little chubby toes :) I feel as if the blanket should be more tightly wrapped around her … it may come off a wee bit messy looking and would have eliminated the shadowing under her chin. Good lighting on the little one and kudos on making her so comfortable that she fell good and asleep for you !

    Such a sweet photo!
I really love the yellow, soft and pretty.
Her little foot is a bit distracting to me so close to the edge of the frame and I would possibly crop the feet out so it is just a torso and head shot.
I love your posing and styling and the lighting is great.
I bet he mama loves this shot.

I love the colors so creamy and perfect for a sleeping baby! the only thing I would have changed would have been to have her laying so her feet go way from the camera not towards it. that way your eye gets drawn into the picture not out. I also love the light you have captured its so perfect!!

Great picture! I love how the baby looks so comfortable, the lighting is perfect to me. The only thing I would change is that I feel it’s too much of one color. I would change out the blanket the baby is laying on to a coordinating color. Maybe a soft gray or pink, otherwise it’s a beautiful photo!

This is an adorable picture! I love babies pose in the picture. She looks so peaceful and content. There are only two things I would change. First, the feet are out of focus and I would love to see those little toes more clearly. Second the feet are too close to the edge of the frame. I do love the use of the yellow color in the photo…it draws the eye to what is important…the baby’s face, arms and feet. And gives the picture a strong focal point. Soooo cute!

I love this picture! She seems so comfortable and peaceful, I love her hands around her squishy face! I think I would have cropped closer to her face to highlight how cute that moment is. I think that is the main focus of the shot. But I love the natural colors and the feeling I get when I look at this shot! Nice job!

Nice job on getting her to stay sleepy and being able to position her hands so softly! She looks so peaceful. In processing, I would recommend a curves adjustment lifting the mid tones and/or highlights a bit so there is more definition in the texture/depth of her gorgeous thick hair and luminance in her skin. That might help lighten up that shadow under her chin as well. If you know how to do masking in Photoshop you can apply the effects of your curves adjustment where you want to give it more light in certain areas and depth. I think the skin tones look nice and I like the soft colors of the photo.

I love that you captured the sweetness and innocence of this little angle. Technically, with lighting, exposure and skin tones, I think you did a great job. In post processing I would have brightened the photo a little but I thats a personal preference. Overall, great photo.

Beautiful baby, beautiful picture! I love the hand posing, it looks natural and comfortable, not stiff at all. I do feel the skin looks a litle cool and grayish especially around the mouth area, and the feet are a little distracting. Other than that, gorgeous shot :)

I love this photo. Lovely soft tones to create the mood of a baby sleeping so peacefully. I would have included more space below the feet as I feel the flow just stops and eye doesn’t follow through. I love how the baby is snuggling her blanket and the arms are frame her face.

Absolutley heavenly picture! I love how you are drawn to that precious little face, and the way her hands are positioned is perfect. Her feet are a little distracting to me, maybe trying a different angle or adjusting them. I love the lighting, great job!
