Allison Jacobs

Allison Jacobs Click it Up a Notch ContributorI am a natural light photographer dedicated to shooting my everyday, ordinary life as it unfolds here in Southern California.  I love seeing my life through the lens of my camera while photographing the people and moments that I don’t want to forget in my life.  I’ve had a love for photography for as long as I can remember, although the interest to learn more about it and get serious really came with the purchase of my first DSLR about four years ago.  That was when I realized that my Canon point and shoot could not capture my fast-moving son the way I hoped.  Since then I have been obsessively learning everything I can, and I am so excited to share what I have learned here on Click it Up a Notch!  My ideal day would include a good book, a great latte, and time at the beach (with my camera, of course!).

Shannon Heimsoth

Shannon Heimsoth - Click it Up a Notch ContributorI am a natural light family, child, and senior photographer, born and raised in a small town in northern Illinois. Growing up, I always knew that I wanted to be a mom, a teacher, and a photographer. I was an elementary teacher for 8 years before staying home with my four babies. My desire to become a photographer only intensified when I became a mom. In February of 2009, I joined Clickin Moms where I have participated in workshops, studied and admired the work of other members, and have learned more about the world of photography that I ever knew was possible. How blessed I am to know that my childhood dreams have come true for I am a mom, a teacher, and a photographer. I spend my days doing what I was meant to do, being a wife and a mom of four while capturing and documenting the simple joys of my everyday life. I am so very honored to be a contributor here at Click It Up A Notch!

Elicia Graves

Elicia Graves Click it Up a Notch ContributorI am a tried and true Texas native living in the fabulous Bay Area of California with my husband and two little girls. My photography style is simple and earnest and I enjoy documenting my family in my free time. I am especially partial to black and white photography and the raw emotion that it brings to my images. On a personal note, I am obsessed with finding the perfect pair of brown boots, am addicted to Starbucks mochas (non fat with whip please!), could live on salted caramel ice cream and love exploring the California coast and hitting up the beach whenever possible.

Melissa Gibson

melissa gibsonI am a super happy hobbyist and MWAC. I live just south of Atlanta with my husband and three girls. I love reading, giggling, sweet tea, instagram and fruit roll ups. My goal as a photographer is to remember my girls’ lives for them. I know they won’t remember it all, so I feel that it’s my job to document their lives for them. Usually, I’m playing on the floor with them with my camera nearby. I use a Nikon d700, shoot JPEGs and edit in Photoshop Elements.

Jen Bacher

Jen Bacher Click it Up a Notch ContributorI am a photographer from Salt Lake City, UT. I enjoy shooting food, travel, lifestyle, and weddings. I have been in and out of the photography business since 2005, juggling the demands of motherhood (four kiddos) with my love of photography. I feel it is a true gift to be able to express who I am and my everyday through my lens. I find much joy in learning and improving, and in helping others grow. I also find joy in childhood laughter, a good sweaty workout, baby chub, shopping alone, the mountains in my backyard, sauteed mushrooms, dark chocolate, and naps in the afternoon…and dear to my heart are genuine friendships, unconditional love, and true believers! Looking forward to sharing my knowledge and learning from all of you this year!

Melissa Noste

Melissa Noste Click it Up a Notch ContributorI’m a stay at home Mom to one beautiful little girl and a wife to the most amazing man. Photography has been a love of mine since an early age when I was dubbed the ‘girl with camera.’ I started out with little disposable cameras and then my Dads SLR before getting my first DSLR. I’ve spent the last four years learning anything and everything that has to do with my DSLR. Most of my photography is documenting my life with my little family, which I achieve through personal photography challenges and my 365 projects. Aside from photography and family, I love my iPad, molasses cookies and watching reruns of Friends, The Office and How I Met Your Mother.

Kelly Garvey

kelly garvey click it up a notch contributorI am a natural light, lifestyle photographer from Houston, TX. I enjoy shooting emotion & interaction whether it be while shooting a session or documenting my family. I was born & raised in houston & only escaped for a short time when I went off to college :) I live in the burbs with my husband, two sons & two dogs….all boys! I had an interest in photography at a young age while working in the fashion industry, but it was undeniable after my oldest son was born & I desperately wanted a way to document his life. My dad gave me my first camera (along with a ton of moral support), I joined Clickin’ Moms, immersed myself in classes & never looked back! I love oatmeal, hazelnut coffee from the Keurig, taking family naps, game night & playing soccer. one of the things I love about photography is that you can never stop learning & growing…that’s part of the reason I am excited to be here on Click it Up a Notch learning & growing with all of you.

Laurie Flickinger

Laurie Flickinger Click it Up a Notch ContributorI am a wife, a mother of 3, and a natural light hobbyist photographer. Photography is my passion, my outlet, and my sanity. My love of photography started like most MWACs, when my 1st child was born. I shoot with a Nikon D700 and a handful of prime lenses. When not learning all I can about photography, I enjoy reading, decorating my home, lake time, mindless television, and laughing with the girls.
