ClickAway – Conference for Photographers
Lifestyle

It is not secret I adore Clickin’ Moms. Over the past 4 years I have learned so much through their workshop and forum. The people on the forum are kind and generous with their knowledge and always willing to answer a question. The workshops are full of so much fantastic information and the critiques, oh the critiques, are worth every penny of the full participation cost.

You can imagine how I almost spit out my tea when I received an email a few weeks ago asking if I was interesting in SPEAKING at the ClickAway conference. I didn’t even have to think about it, I replied YES!. What an honor! Not only do I get to speak and teach more people about photography and social media but I get to meet the amazing photographers who have gotten me here. Win win!

    HI Courtney,

I ordered your e-book, “The Unexpected Everyday.” Since I prefer to relax and browse through a book held in my hands, I wondered if you would give me written permission to print the book out for my own personal use. Thanks. Have a great weekend.

      Hey Carol,

Yes, you may print the ebook for your own personal use. Let me know if you need anything from me as far as an official written release – clickitupanotch @ gmail.com

    Hi!
I really like your posts and find them very helpful. I fell in love with photography when I took it as an elective class in High School. I needed something “easy” because I was taking such a big load of classes that year. I had no idea I would love it right away and would want to make a living at it. Unfortunately, as a young adult, I listened too much to my family who kept telling me photography was a hobby and not a career and so I have spent the last 25 years in the world of corporate America and although I have made a six-figure income in Real Estate, the market has changed and I’ve been so miserable for years!! I decided in 2009 that I was getting back to photography, professionally, no matter what it takes! I opened a studio in September of last year, and although I am pushing forward everyday, I don’t have the clients breaking down my door. I know it will take time, but it gets discouraging. I’m asking anyone who will listen to please look at my site and give me honest feedback on what I can improve on both in my photographs, and my selling of myself and my services…that seems to be the hardest part for me. Thank you so much, and I’m trying to make the trip to salt lake!

      Hey Kathleen,

I’m so glad to hear you are following your passion. Yay! If you want to get some critiques of one of your photos you may want to consider submitting one next time the list opens up for our Critique Me Series.

    Hello,

Since I have discovered your blog I just can’t believe the difference in my photography. It has been so fun reading, learning and practicing my craft. As a hobbyist I just feel so happy and satisfied when I take a picture to share on my 365 Project over at Facebook..thanks to you.

Question. I think I might just attend this workshop by myself. Why not. It seems that there will be lots of opportunities to meet people. Li z

That is awesome! So glad to hear you are tackling a 365! I think a LOT of people will be going by alone. They have it geared towards helping people get to know each other. I know I’m leading two small group photo walk/exercusions which is a great way to get to know others. Come! It will be fun!
