I don’t know if you are like me but I can’t figure out Twitter for the life of me. It’s so fast paced, I see all these hashtags, it’s like a whole new language. I signed up for Twitter a few months back thinking, I’m cool and hip, I can figure this out. Nope!
I’m learning though! Thanks to Melissa at Momcomm who wrote this great post – The Basics of Using HootSuite and introduced me to the only way I can keep up with Twitter.
I want to follow you guys! I set up a way so when you comment you can add your Twitter handle (you like that…I’m learning the terminology). Be sure to add your name so I can follow you :O)
You know I can’t post without a photo :O) Sorry about another split light shot…I’m a bit obsessed lately.
Hi Courtney,
Thanks for sharing the article and photo! We’re glad to see you using the dashboard. I hope HootSuite is helping you navigate Twitter and other social networks.
That is amazing! I’d love to learn how to get a shot like that!
I’m with you on not quite being able to get twitter. I recently discovered hootsuite and it’s great! It definitely makes Twitter so much easier. I also love that I can post to my twitter and facebook page at the same time.
I love your split light shots. I think they are fabulous!!
Thanks so much! I’m kind of obsessed with playing around with that type of lighting :O)
I love Twitter ..although, I don’t really understand it. I never use hash tags& I think I get a failing grade for making Twitter work for me ahaha gorgeous shot of you :)
Great self portrait! Twitter is much easier when I use Intasgram…take photo, write a tiny bit, publish to both instagram and twitter.
Fabulous photo! I love using Twitter to see news from my followed celebrities. But I am not aware of this HootSuit.
I like your picture… You are pretty and this is perfectly captured…
You are sweet! Thank you!
I love your split lighting photos! They inspired my 52 week photo this week on my business blog. ;) So before I click on this link, will Twitter make me spend more time one the computer. Ha! My poor house is never clean like we talked about on facebook. lol
You are so funny! It really depends. I probably spend 15-20 max on Twitter/Hootsuite. It is a fun way to connect with others though :O) Thanks for the compliment on the picture :O)
I’m terrible at twitter too!!! I don’t understand it at all and I’ve been on it for more than a few months haha! Love your half light shoots!
Thanks!! Try out Hootsuite…maybe it will help. Seriously, Twitter is so confusing :O)
I love Twitter but absolutely can NOT use it without Hootsuite. Another big thing for me is putting people in lists. Sometimes, I only want to see updates from my local people so I have a list of DFW people. It’s a separate column in my dashboard and saves lots of time for me. Maybe that will help you, too.
That is a great idea! I may have to try that idea of list of certain people. I like your thinking :O) Thanks!
I feel like I’m finally getting the hang of Twitter after a few months. I know we already follow each other but I’d love to link up with other CIUANers!
I was pretty heavy into Twitter when it first came out a few years ago — but the love affair fizzled for one reason or another. I go on there occasionally — but nothing like the “old days.” :)
The “old days” you crack me up :O)
Oh this is exciting! I love twitter, but I don’t completely “get” twitter. Thanks, once again, for showing us something great!
My pleasure :O) Why not share the good stuff…right???
I kind of gave up on it. However, right now I am lucky to read a few emails :0
ha ha I hear you on that!!
