I love my 50mm 1.4, but my 24-70mm 2.8 is usually on my camera 80% of the time. I love the sharpness of the 50mm but the versatility of the 24-70.

I am all about the 50mm Canon. I have the 1.8 but, will buy the 1.4 very soon. Also, currently saving for the 24-70. I used it to shoot a wedding and was thrilled with the results!
Add me to the lover of the Nifty Fifty I have the 1.8 but someday .. someday would LOVE to upgrade.. I just got my 1.8 like 2 mths ago oh the magic we have created or at least I like to think so :)
I completely agree with Kristin. I LOVE my 50mm 1.4, they do not lie when they say they are sharper. But the 24-70 is a great walk around lens. I love to use it when we go on family adventures, I like that I’m not constantly backing up and moving in to get a shot. It’s got the perfect amount of reach. I’m dreaming of the 15mm fisheye right now. Beth on CM makes me have serious lens envy with all her rocking photos with that lens.
Hmmm… This is a hard one. I love love love my 50mm 1.2L, but I also love my 16-35 2.8L. I have a major love affair with wide-angle shots. :)
Love my 85mm 1.8 and my 50mm 1.4.
I recently upgraded to a 50mm 1.4 and I am IN LOVE. My friend has an 85mm that she let me borrow and I really like that too, but I don’t have one for keeps… yet anyway! ;-)
