Baby-Newborn Safety for Photographers-Why Didn’t I Think of That? Wednesday
Lifestyle

I love those newborn shots of the infant hanging from a tree branch or resting on top of an object. Did you know that the great photographers use editing to help create those images? You would never want to really hang a baby in some thin fabric from a tree limb. Yikes!! You wouldn’t want the parents so far out of the frame that there is no one near to have their hands on that baby in half a second if something went wrong. I found a great tutorial for you guys on how one photographer is able to capture those great newborn shots without endangering the newborn. In this post, Jodie talks about how she got a baby to fall asleep on a guitar!! It’s really neat and an awesome picture I’m sure the music loving parents would LOVE!

Please check out this post – Baby/Newborn Safety for Photographers and keep the tips in mind next time you are photographing a newborn.

Because, I can’t leave you without a photo :O) Here’s one of my friend and her baby!

I’m so glad you posted this! Those are always such beautiful shots, but this is definitely one photographic secret that needs to be revealed.

Great article! It always makes me think of those “baby with chin in their hands” shots. Makes me wonder if people know that it’s actually Photoshop holding the baby’s head and not the newborns themselves propping their chins on their hands.

THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS COURTNEY! It is so crazy that photographers even desire to keep this a secret from new photogs. Great post and thankful she posted it for others to SEE it is NOT done without SAFETY FIRST! Hugs
