Free Magic Story Board Action – Why Didn’t I Think of That? – Wednesday

If you are anything like me then you have TONS of pictures of your kiddos you want to share with your family. We have a personal family blog and I tend to go a little overboard posting pictures. It’s for the grandparents, right?? Most of the time my photos tell a story that I would love to capture in a collage. Unfortunately, I don’t know the first thing about Photoshop Elements except how to use actions. Luckily, the nice people over at MCP Actions decided to have pity on those of us who don’t know how to make our own story board. You can download this one for free to use with Photoshop or PSE. Let me know if you have any questions!!

I can make you a simple storyboard if you want; do you know how to use clipping masks? I only know how to make a storyboard, but not an action for it. If you can do clipping masks you can just insert your pics that way. I love storyboards!

No, I don’t know how to use clipping masks :O( PSE and I aren’t good friends. But, I will learn :O) Thanks Janell!!

okay I found this site for you (I used to go to it all the time till I learned how to do my own). it’s got free storyboard templates and really easy instructions on how to use them! Check out her free actions too, they are awesome.

    Hey Courtney,

I love it when MCP has free actions, storyboards, etc. I know has several, as well. I still need to learn how to fit my photos into the story board appropriately. Oh so much too learn and so little EXTRA time!

I awarded you the Versatile Blogging Award just to say thank you and to lead more people to your helpful photography tips. Head on over to check out the details

I am a girl with crazy ideas and have a hard time putting them together. I am trying to outdo my christmas cards from last year. I want to use 4 of my family pictures in a long line, so it would be about 2″ tall and 10-11 inches long. I am trying to figure out how to get it set up to fit on a 8×10 or 11×14 so I can have a lab print it out for me and I will cut the strips down myself. I have a mac, but don’t own any photo editing software. Do you know a any good ones that are free and I would be able to set up like this to have the lab print out. I would also like it to be pretty user friendly. Thank you!!
