I was so excited when I found this blog – Meet the Dubiens. Her photos are beautiful, which of course I’m a huge fan of! But more than that she has such great ideas! Besides her super clever kid projects which I’m going to have to start doing each week now with Kate, she has this awesome section called Fun Food Friday. Each Friday she makes her kids their own little masterpieces of food on a plate. I love this idea but I love even more that it’s such a fun way to photograph food. It will be such a treasure for her kids when they grow up to have all of these creations they were given to eat. Plus, it’s a great way to get that picky eater to consider eating some new food. Since we live in Japan and bento boxes are such a huge thing I always liked the idea of making your kids food more interesting. I will definitely be stealing some of her ideas and hopefully doing this for my girls every now and then :O)
