Like so many of you, I have been extremely saddened by what happened on Friday. No mother should have to go through what far too many mothers had to experience on Friday.
I have no words. So, the photographer in me took a picture. I am holding my girls a little tighter these days and thanking God daily for their blessings in my life.
“Be still, and know that I am God.”
Psalm 46:10
Beautiful image. The girls are precious.
the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. thanks be to God!
Beautiful picture. This is what it’s all about. I saw a mother kissing her child before he got on the school bus this morning and I broke down and cried. Let’s all let a little more love into our lives.
What a beautiful photograph Courtney capturing such poignant emotion. As a teacher today was a difficult day, but one I know I am blessed to have. Each day is truly a gift. Thank you for sharing.
There is no doubt that none felt their pain more than Jesus.
Such a sweet shot, Courtney.
Precious! Thank you for sharing :).
Hi Sahm,
Your work is incredible. Thank you for sharing.
My oldest son arrived home this past Sunday( Air Force) (big surprise)!
He will be with us for the holidays. As a blended family, my sweet husband and I have 5 incredible children between us. I would like to take the opportunity to take some family portraits this upcoming weekend. I’m looking for any suggestions on poses. My son,(20 year old) will be in his dress blues, along with 22 yr old girl, and 17 yr. 11 yr. & 9 yr. boys. I was thinking of an outdoor location at one of the nearby parks. Weather should be clear.
Thank you so much.
Hey Rosie,
Thank you :) I don’t have any posts on photographing older children but maybe this post on large groups will help. Enjoy the time with your family all together.
