I learned I’m in love with my new baby!! I haven’t even had it for 24 hours but it is truly amazing! I took some photos of the girls in the bathtub and I have not be able to with my D90 because of the terrible lighting. The skin tones looked better SOOC and so much less noise! Wow!!

Also, I wrote my first guest post!!! Marah at Diary of a Devil Dog Wife is enjoying his husband’s return home from a deployment and asked some bloggers to write guest posts for her. Here is a little bit of mine. Be sure to check out the rest!!

Candid Moments
We have all been in situations where we want to capture the true emotion of that precious moment. Whether it’s a homecoming, birthday party, or baptism, you can follow these steps to make sure you are ready to capture that moment before it passes by.

Remember candid moments don’t just have to be the “big” moments in life. You can use these tips to capture the small candid moments you don’t want to forget!

1 . Plan your shots. If you know you are going to somewhere where you would like to capture some candid moments make a list of what you want to capture. For example, a homecoming like Marah gets to experience. Do you want to capture a photo of them embracing for the first time? Click HERE to read the rest.

Why the switch from a Canon to a Nikon?

My husband bought me a Canon 60D for Christmas, so I was excited when I came across your website and saw that you shot with a Canon. I hope to peruse your blog soon, and learn a few things!

Yay for a new camera! I actually switched from a Canon Rebel to a Nikon D90 in Dec 2009. So I have been shooting with a Nikon for a year and a half. I do know people who shoot with Canon so if you have a Canon question I can definitely help to answer it :O)
