Last week we talked about different Photo Labs to use. Did you get your free test prints?? I hope so!! If not, what are you waiting for?? Find a lab you like and get printing!! Photos are not meant to live in your computer :O) Share them!!
I recently re-did my own photo wall in my living room. It had been over a year since I had changed out any of my pictures. All of the pictures were before I learned to shoot on manual and most of them were not even my photos. Don’t get me wrong, I love those photos!! It was time to update them though and show off some of my own work. I want my house to be covered with photos of my family and friends! Unfortunately, I don’t have the funds to do everything I want so I’m starting small :O) I love finding new ways to display my photos so I thought I would share some of them with you.
1. Pimp Our Hallway This is by far my favorite! Love the idea of switching out my photos so easily and displaying them in such a casual manner! I have already bought the magnetic boards for this, I just need to find a place for them :O)
2. The Nester A creative way to add more then just your photos to your wall display.
3. Cheap, Easy Photo Wall This is a clever idea of a more casual wall display.
4. Just Be Blogged Love her choice of photos she used as well as the size of the display!
5. Acryilc Photo Frames I love an orderly wall display :O)
6. Infinity Image Love the jar idea!
7. Sandy Schurz – Portrait Art Gallery Inspiration Guide Tons of great ideas, plus for you professional photographers out there a great tool to show your clients what their galleries would look like :O) I appreciate she gave the sizes of the photos as well!
PART TWO – Photo Wall Display {Frames}
How do you display your photos??? Do you have links to photo displays that you love?? Leave a comment and let us know!!! I love stealing getting new ideas ;O)

I’ve been following the nester and I too love their wall display! I think the cheap easy photo wall looks unique. I have a friend that hung a string along the top of the wall and then used clothes pins to hang photos. It created a neat border along the wall.
That is a clever idea too!! Thanks for sharing!!
Prints on the wall??? I’ve been meaning to do that for 5 months now. Hmm… Thanks for the links to look through!
I can start nagging you if you want :O)
I got my 8by10’s from WHCC and I love them! Haven’t tried that other company yet though. Have you ever bought anything else from WHCC?
No, I just got my free test prints. I bought my pictures from Color Inc :O)
Ooh, thanks for reminding me that I have a couple of cool wire-and-magnet photo hanging things in some box somewhere. (OK now I’m just mad that I can’t find them.) I have a problem in that along with wanting to choose the perfect picture, I already have too much to hang on my walls and also I’m a frame snob (having taken up framing a few years ago). I love the jar idea.
Ha ha!! I know, I just took a framing class too and now want only the nice ones :O) Good luck finding your stuff!!
Thanks for this post. I want to an art gallery along my stairwell, so this puts some ideas in my head
I was given an old farm window frame that had 12 openings. I cleaned it up and blew up old pictures of my husbands Grandparents and mine. We also took a current picture of our kids, our parents and a wedding picture of us. They are all black and white 8×10 pictures. It has been fun to look at all our relatives hanging on all wall and it is something you don’t have to change except for the kids.
What a great idea!! Now, I just need a really cool old farm window :O) Let me know if you have any extra laying around!!
I LOVE the Shurz download! Thank you, Courtney!
