A group of Click it Up a Notch readers got together last year and supported each other through their Project 365. I was so excited to hear that many had completed the project as I know what an undertaking it can be.
I have to be honest, I’m so impressed with all their images. These photographers inspire me. When I feel like quitting my 365, I will definitely come back to this post to be inspired.
If you would like to link up to others doing the project this year you can click here.
Check out some of the awesome images they captured during their Project 365.

Love these. I am starting my 365 in the next few days I hope I can get it completed! Will also use these as inspiration. Thank you so very much for all you have shared with us. You are my inspiration to start and finish! Also wishing you and all your followers a safe happy holidays!

You are so sweet! Thank you :)
Outstanding gallery of inspiration! Truly enjoyed these!
Huge congrats to everyone who finished the P365 for 2014!!! Such an amazing accomplishment!
I love all these photos, but as a novice photographer, I also feel discouraged! It’s hard to look at professional photographer’s images (which may or may not have had help from a photo editing software such as photoshop) and not feel daunted. I wish there was a seperate area for first-time 365ers to connect so we aren’t comparing our results to someone who does it as a profession. Don’t get me wrong – I love looking at pro photos, especially the photojournalist type. But I would feel more comfortable (and less disheartened) to view how someone like me has succeeded in their 365 project. Perhaps you could ask people to submit two photos – one from the beginning of their project and a second that shows how they have improved within one year due to the project. Just an idea. Love the website!
For most of us it was our first 356 and very few of us have a photography business. First thing to remember and always remember is that we can’t compare our journey to someone elses and if you keep practicing and shoot from the heart anything is possible, you will always get better!
To Anonymous,
I assume that, like myself, people submitted their best images from the last year. So view these in that light. I made some really nice images in the last year and I also made(and posted) some images that really were not very good!!
I remember feeling the same thing when I started my project 365 last year. The group was incredible and I was constantly inspired to learn and push myself to grow. I am definitely not a professional, and most of us aren’t. We are just a group of people, who love photography, helping each other on our individual photography journeys! I took some great pics last year, and some pretty terrible ones! But I can tell you, you just have to dive in and not compare yourself to others, only your past work. Jump in, and start, and in one year you’ll be amazed at how much you’ve grown! Good luck on your 365! You can totally do it!
It can be intimidating. Some of these people are amazing! But as part of the group you also see the ones that are not so great and the true beginners who also post. It is amazing to see how much people grow through this process. And by mixing the beginners with the more advanced you have access to advice that you can’t get in a group of only-beginners. Everyone in this group has been kind and helpful. It is worth it. Don’t be scared!
Hey! Like the others have mentioned many of these people are not pros. We all start somewhere and when you take a photo everyday for an entire year your photography will grow drastically. This post wasn’t meant to discourage you in fact it was meant to encourage you to show you what you can accomplish by trying something like the Project 365. Best of luck!
I’m curious if there is a Facebook group or some other way to connect with the people participating in the 2015 365? I liked up in the other post, but I wanted to see if I was missing something else.
Gretchen,
All are welcome to join the group. It’s a “secret” group in Facebook terms so you probably can’t go directly to it. If you, or anyone else, are interested please look me up at https://www.facebook.com/ScottFairbairnPhotography send me a message and I should be able to get you added. It’s a great group, very supportive.
Is this the FB group for this 365 or a different one?
It’s for this group.
To Anonymous and anyone else,
it was my first P365 and I didn’t quite finish but I am giving it another try. I have loved being part of the fb group. I’m also a beginner and get that it can be intimidating sometimes to put your images out there, but don’t hold yourself back by comparing to anyone else! We all start somewhere! :)
these are so great! and fabulous. wanted to thank you for your great support and wonderful tutorials this year.
