I learned I LOVE my 20mm!! I was able to capture this shot the other night and was shocked at how much sky that lens can capture. I realize that those of you who follow my 365 have already seen this picture but I love it :O) I can’t wait to practice Janell’s tutorial on custom bokeh this weekend! I learned so much from her lesson and can’t wait to try it out :O)
Now it’s your turn. What did you learn this week?? You know the old saying “You learn something new everyday!” Take pictures of it and share with us!! Some weeks you may learn a photography skill and want critiques. GREAT!! Share and ask for them! If you didn’t learn a new photography skill but something about yourself or life, that is great too! Post a picture and tell us what you learned. Can’t wait to see your pictures and find out what you learned!!

Beautiful shot!
Gorgeous photo.
Courtney ~ I am have given much thought to what I would photograph with the 500mm. My list would be, the spring bird migration, the summer dolphins, and the winter harbor seals. I am sure I could have some fun finding a few other subjects. But, I could rent it twice a year for 14 years before I would have spent enough to purchase it. I think renting is the way to go.
The sunset is so beautiful!
I learned lower focal lengths mean you are “farther” away. :) Thanks!

Beautiful picture! Which lens do you think is better for group shots? The 20 or 35?
Wow, it does capture a lot of sky and it was beautiful.
What a gorgeous sky!
