I have always been so fascinated with macro photography. It is amazing to me how creative everyone can be when they photograph something so ordinary and make it look extraordinary. I found this amazing tutorial over at the Clickin’ Moms blog. Sarah Wilkerson is a fantastic photographer! She is one of the admin in the Clickin’ Moms forums. She also runs several of the workshops, one of which I can’t WAIT to take – Advanced Creativity and Composition 101. Even if you don’t have a macro, you need to check out the amazing photographs!! And if I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times…You need to join the Clickin’ Moms forum!!
Be sure to check out this tutorial – A Macrolicious Tutorial
If you need a little more inspiration each Monday they have “Macrolicious Monday” where they feature one photographer and their wonderful macro shots.
This really is an EXCELLENT tutorial, so thank you! I don’t have a Macro lens, but I really want one, so I am going to bookmark this tutorial.
Clickin’ Moms has so many great things and I, all too often, do not take full advantage of them.
Wow I will be taking a look I LOVE macro!
I have magnification filters to put on my lens. I hope to test this on an antique bible of my Grandfathers, my dad would live it. Don’t know about a bee! ;) thanks for the find!!
I love this tutorial. And that fuzz on the bee is so crazy!
Thanks for sharing. I love macro photography and I’m currently drooling over a new 30mm lens (can you hear my brain? ahhhhhhhhhhhhh) in time for spring flowers, bugs, and macro photography!
