Around the holidays you may be trying to come up with creative ways to use your photos with/or as your gift.
I’m a huge fan of giving photo books, prints and more for gifts. However, I love to make sure that each gift I give has a photo with it.
We are all guilty of not printing our photos enough. By slowing down during this time of year and printing our photos and giving them to those we love is just one way our photography can bless those in our lives.
For the last couple of years, I have printed photos as the card on the gift. I print photos of my kids and family members. Instead of writing “to” on the gift, I’ll attached a photo of that person on the gift.

You want to select photos of the people receiving the gifts. If you don’t have photos of this person, I have sometimes asked them to send me a photo or asked a mutual friend or family member to email me a photo.

No.02Print the photos
I have found that the photos printed at Artifact Uprising is perfect for these photo cards. They use a thicker stock paper so you don’t need to worry as much about the photo bending when put on the package.
You can purchase the Square Print Set. It’s up to you for the size. I like to choose either the 3.25×3.25” or the 4×4.

No.03Purchase the wrapping paper & twine
I like to use brown wrapping paper for the gifts to keep it clean and simple. I recommend this Kraft Paper Jumbo Roll. There is plenty of paper to wrap all your presents.
You can use simple brown twine but I like to use this red and white twine.

I’m not known for my wrapping skills so by using these photo cards I’m able to hide the mistakes that are involved in my wrapping.
Great idea, I am doing this for Christmas. Thank you.
What a great idea!! There’s enough color on the tree and I love the simple brown paper wrapping and string so your photos stand out!
I’m looking for my photos today! Wonderful idea. I really don’t print enough photos.
