My stepmom does amazing stocking stuffers this way- that pricey kitchen tool that you wanted but it would have been a splurge, the Essie nail polish that is $8 and you keep passing by thinking “I don’t need to spend $8 on nail polish. I could put that towards something we really need.”, or the beautiful notepaper that is completely unnecessary but you automatically write more letters now that you have it. Massage gift cards, mani/pedis…the things that give you small joy or relaxation or happiness that you don’t always do for yourself!

The camera lens is a perfect example for me…I love taking pictures with my iPhone and have wanted to take a photography class. And get a real camera! It might be the tail wagging the dog, but winning a great lens would put “nice camera” at the top of my list this year. :-)

Every year we give personalized photo calendars with pictures of our boys to all of the grandparents (and I do mean all – our boys still have great-grandparents that get them too). Everyone loves them, or at least pretends to. For others who don’t want our kids’ faces plastered on their walls, I love giving books the most.

My favorite hobbies are photography and baking. Neighbors always get baked goods and my parents anxiously await their photo books every year.

My Favorite thing to give is homemade Christmas cards & A basket of goodies for those cold winter mornings like homemade apple butter with biscuit mix , a mug with dry ingredients for hot chocolate, a bag of coffee & a poem from the children’s heart along with photo calendars for the next year .

Favorite gift to give is photos! Especially photo books for the grandparents.

I love giving photo gifts. I usually make several photo books and calendars for family members, or even just a nice printed photo in a cute frame! I will probably give some photo sessions as gifts this year, too.
