I learned there is so much to learn about editing skin tones. I knew there was a skill to this but I didn’t realize there was a mathematical number formula going on :O) I spent FOREVER editing two pictures for my Lightroom 101 workshop through Clickin’ Moms. I finally was able to get this picture to look right and have the numbers read correctly. Honestly, my head hurt so bad! :O)

This week I learned that not everyone is going to get me. I received crappy (as in unhelpful) feedback in a photography forum. I tried to create a dialogue, but the person didn’t want to chat so I left it alone. From that same group, I received fantastic feedback about food photography and I learned that “less is more” and deleted over 100 images from my Flickr photostream.
Not everyone is going to understand what I’m trying to do, but that’s fine. I finished listening to a book called Do You! that basically says that the path to happiness and success can only be found by being true to ourselves (but it takes 5+ hours to say this *smile*).
Deep lessons for the week. I loved it!
