Pick a lens
Next up you’ll want a lens. I always recommend buying the camera body only and then buying a lens instead of the kit lens that typically come with the cameras. You will be able to buy a better lens like this one, for the same price if not cheaper!
The 35mm is a lens I recommend often. It’s a great first lens to have. It is versatile and good for almost any photography style. It can take beautiful portraits, or snap the family photo. It’s small and lightweight, you wont even know it is there. Best of all it is budget friendly.
Nikon 35mm 1.8
Canon 35mm 1.8
Sony 35mm 1.8
Another great and affordable option is the 50mm lens. You will often hear this referred to as the “Nifty Fifty.” It is a little bit of a tighter frame but gives you stunning photos.
